Tai Tam Bay
Image# cnhkg024
View over Tai Tam Bay from The Dragon's Back looking west towards Stanley. Stanley was a fishing village before the arrival of the British. The Hakka and Hoklo fisherfolk used the bay as a summer anchorage and to shelter their vessels from severe tropical storms & typhoons. To the north (right) of the bay is the Tai Tam Reservoir, a major water source for Hong Kong Island which is surrounded by a country park.
