Shilpi Mahajan is the founder of Culture Curry, a company focused on rural travel to India. Culture Curry was born out of a love for travel, culture, long-lost traditions, folklore and people which translates into stories on her blog. With an MBA in Finance, Shilpi took a sabbatical from her corporate life after her daughter, Sehar, was born. Together with her daughter, she discovered her love for travel, photography and writing.

Shilpi and Sehar took their first trip to Mukteshwar when she was just seven months old. They moved to the United States thereafter, but their love for India and its culture kept on bringing them back. Together, they explored the Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Delhi - talking, photographing and living the lives of the people they met. Their love affair continues as they keep revisiting the country and getting immersed in the culture.
